Techniques I use!

When I work with clients I use a range of techniques blended together to achieve the right outcomes for the client. These techniques include Neuro Linguistic Progamming (NLP), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Time Line Therapy (TLT) and Hypnosis. 

What is NLP?

Lots of people have asked me What is NLP?  So I thought I’d give you a quick explanation.

Neuro Linguistic Programming often referred to as NLP explores the relationship between….
Neuro: How we think.
Linguistic: Verbal and non verbal communication.
Programming: Patterns of Behaviour and Emotions.

It is how to use language to achieve specific goals and outcomes.

By using NLP you can use language to make positive changes in the brain.
NLP will open up a pathway between you and your unconscious mind.  It will provide tools and techniques in which you can use in all aspects of your life.

Emotional Freedom Technique – EFT

Emotional Freedom Technique is an effective therapy where you “tap” on acupuncture/meridian points on the body to help relieve both emotional and physical pain, trauma and negative thoughts and behaviours.

By tapping on these specific points on the head, face, chest and hands it allows energy blockages to be released.  Once these blockages are cleared, you can feel different, both emotionally and physically. 

Imagine all of your emotions jumbled up in knots in a big ball of string. In order to make sense of these emotions you need them laid out straight in front of you so you can see them clearly and sort out what to do with them.  The worst thing you could do would be to dive in and start pulling at the string and each knot making it tighter and harder to unravel.  By starting with each individual knot and unravelling it separately, you begin to make progress and you can eventually lay the string out flat in front of you.  EFT tapping allows you to take each emotion or feeling and deal with it individually for it to be made sense of and released.

The tapping takes care of the conscious mind, while we “tap” into the unconscious, which is where changes are made.

It’s a great technique with fantastic results and is effective for:

Fears, Phobia’s, Anxiety including Panic Attacks, Trauma and Abuse, Anger, Negative Habits and behaviours, Motivation, Worry, Grief and some physical pain.

Timeline Therapy

Timeline therapy is a personal development tool which enables you to resolve issues and problems in your life now and during the rest of your life by removing the major negative emotions.

Timeline therapy has become widely known as one of the most effective methods of change therapy providing quick and lasting change on an individual. It removes negative emotions at the root cause enabling you to feel free and able to move on in your life.  It really is life changing!


Hypnosis is a process which produces deep relaxation.  It introduces a trance like state to help with issues such as stress relief, healing, self discovery, and negative habits.  Hypnosis is fantastic at cementing together changes that are made in the unconscious mind.
